Shaun and Roy were on hand in Hampstead, London to install these lovely tier on tier shutters for a living room bay window. The client was looking for the shutters to finish their stylish living room and was so impressed with the end result that the image has now been featured in a home magazine.
We created these shutters in a tier on tier style which work wonders with bay windows. With so much light at different angles able to enter the room, this style of shutters can really regulate and control the light from all sections of the windows. Each panel can be opened, closed and adjusted to suit the needs of the customer at all times of day and night.
The bay features a traditional sash window and the shutters needed to look traditional yet modern enough to match the interior. The client opted for narrow panels with 76mm louvres and central tilt rods which really create the look they wanted to achieve. Finished in a gorgeous silk white they pop out against the dark walls creating a feature not only from inside the room but from outside the property!
