We were in Lewisham in London to install these wonderful shutters for a new customer. They were looking for a contemporary and modern shutter look that also worked with their existing interior and style of home. The shutters were to be installed on a lovely bay window area and a large standard shaped window.
These shutters installed by Shaun, were created in a tier on tier style which allows for multiple ways of adjustment and opening, our most flexible shutter solution. They have the split manufactured in the middle to meet with the lines of the windows behind and are created to Bi-Fold neatly out of the way to the sides which opened.
We finished the shutters in pure white with matching hinges and a hidden tilt rod system for that contemporary look, while allowing the customer to adjust the louvres using touch rather than a visible rod.
We used plain stiles to also achieve the modern look and 76mm louvres which is our most popular louvre size and allows for plenty of natural light into the room while also giving a great level of privacy in the evenings or when needed!
