We were in Central London to install these shutters that we had created for a client in Westminster. Tom was on hand to carry out this job, working on a room of a penthouse located in this great row of period properties in the heart of London!
The shutters were to be installed to the living room windows, which we had expertly measured and created bespoke shutters for in a café style. This style typically covers exactly half the window allowing for lower level privacy with light still able to stream in through the top.
Because these were being fitted to a penthouse living room, there was no real privacy issues and no worry of people looking through the windows, which was one of the reasons that café style shutters would work well.
We used teak wood featuring 76mm louvres and finished in pure white. The customer is also currently keeping their curtains to the side of the windows, so they still have the option of fully covering the windows when required.
