Dan was out in our local area of Bromley, Kent to install these full height shutters for a client’s lovely new build property. We discussed in detail all the options with the customer and one main concern was privacy due to living in a close where houses are situated very near each other.
To help with this we suggested using a medium sized louvre which would work great for not only privacy, but also for getting natural light into the home and rooms. We used 63mm louvres with hidden tilt rods and splits for a modern look which works perfectly with the property!
As you can see the shutters also really look the part from outside, the same colour as the windows and framing but with a great contrast against the dark wood finish covering most of the house.
