Here at ShuttersUp we have been known to venture far and wide to reach clients throughout the UK, but this time involved travelling over the English Channel to reach a customer in Honfleur, Normandy, France!
Five members of our team Ashley, Ross, Mark, Ben & Tom took the vans, laden with bespoke shutters across to France to install the shutters throughout the property.
I think this truly shows our dedication and passion for installing shutters and the lengths we will go to keep our customers happy and get our work out there for people to see!
These shutters were created from our lightweight Fiji Paulownia wood which worked wonders across the home.
All shutters were made in a full height style which resulted in an extremely durable, high quality finish for the client.
We cleverly created these shutters with a visible mid rail and also a hidden mid rail further up.
This creates a highly versatile shutter, which matches with all the lines of the windows, but with just the one visible mid rail does not overly clutter the contemporary design.
The customer was keen to maintain privacy but also allow plenty of light into the rooms when possible, the 63mm louvres combined with the flexibility of a lower level and higher mid rail solution really helps to achieve this.
The shutters were finished in pure white with matching hinges and a hidden tilt rod system to keep the contemporary modern look to the shutters
As you can see they look wonderful from inside and outside of the property, leaving our mark in France to this property and a very happy customer!
