James was recently in Esher, Surrey to fit these kitchen shutters to a brand new kitchen renovation. The customer was looking for the best looking window solution, whilst also being splash and waterproof above the sink area. Our Java ABS coated shutters are the perfect solution for this very area, with a coating which is water resistant they also work well in bathrooms and wet rooms!
After talking with the client, it was decided on creating a modern style of shutters to match with the new kitchen. By bespoke designing them to the exact area we were able to make sure they not only sat perfectly within the window recess, but also opened and closed around the protruding tap.
The shutters are created in a full height style with mid rail, allowing the tops and bottoms of each panels to be adjusted separately. They feature a hidden tilt rod system for that modern look the client was after, and because they are waterproof there is no worry about adjusting them by touch even with wet hands!
We finished the shutters in pure white, creating the ultimate look from inside and outside of the kitchen. Our client was very happy with the new look to finish off their new kitchen and also the versatility of light and privacy that comes part and parcel with our shutters.
