When you purchase shutters from us there are many different design aspects that you can chose including the type of tilt rods that your shutters are installed with. This can be based on your taste or for ease of use in certain rooms of the home. Certain shapes of shutters may also benefit from a non standard tilt rod.
Centered and Offset Tilt Rods
Tilt Rods are fitted for easy opening and closing of the shutters. Using the tilt rod system you can quickly and easily adjust the louvres to the exact light levels you require for your room.
Our centred tilt rod sits down the middle of the shutter or you can opt for an offset title rod which can be places to the left or right depending on your preference.
Offsetting the tilt rod is great for some of our shaped shutters and can also be placed to make the shutters easier to operate depending on where they are located in the room.
Silent / Hidden Tilt Rods
For those who require a minimalistic look we can fit what is known as a silent or hidden tilt rod. We fit a grooved mechanism within the side of the shutters which allows for the owner to simply adjust one shutter to operate all the louvres in unison.
There is no visible rod connected to the shutters which many customers prefer over a visible tilt rod. This is an optional upgrade which can be requested on all our shutter installations and can drastically change the appearance of your shutters if this is the style you are trying to achieve!
With your input we can work with you to decide on the best tilt rod style for your shutter design and installation which will not only look fantastic, but function in the way that you require.
