Ross was in Esher, Surrey to help this customer transform their bedroom with some of our made to measure shutters. The bedroom has a lovely look to it and just needed a window dressing to finish off the look. Not only do our shutters look the part, but they are a great help when it comes to privacy, lighting, airflow and even noise reduction!
In fact having shutters installed in the bedroom is one of the best rooms they can go, making the room a pleasant area to be in but also highly useable throughout the day and night. These shutters were tailored around the look of the windows behind with a mid rail designed to match with the split in the customers windows, also acting as extra strength and a way of adjusting the top and bottoms separately!
We used a hidden tilt rod system so that the shutters would look uncluttered and have a more modern, minimal feel. The customer can easily adjust the 76mm louvres without a visible rod through touch. We also used plain stiles to add further to the modern styling.
The shutters, created in MDF were finished in a popular pure white finishes with matching hinges, which as you can see pops against the darker walls but works very well with the décor!
